Thank you for visiting! works by counting backwards in sleep cycles, so that even when you can only get a little bit of sleep, you can still wake up refreshed and have a productive day! tries to address the concept of sleep inertia by waking you up in between sleep cycles. Although it's not an exact calculation, the basic idea is that waking up from a light sleep is easier to do than waking up from a deep sleep — which makes sense, when you think about it!

I originally wrote for my own personal use, after realizing through experimentation that I woke up feeling better when I used this theory. Rather than doing math every night before bed, I wrote a web application to help me out instead!
